For those of you old enough to remember the childhood days and a kids cartoon series called Speed Racer (Go, Speed Racer, Go) or like me the revisited more modern version will be pleased to hear that the guys that gave the world the Matrix movies have completed the Speed Racer movie, trailers are posted on you tube - looks pretty good and the sweet Mach 5 race car is looking fine.

I hate to admit this but I honestly don't remember it, even though I should, bearing in mind it was on kids TV in the late 60s - anyone know what channel showed it and when and what it clashed with (if it was Thunderbirds, then no contest!?

I love the references to Grand Prix when the cars are more Sports Cars rather than Formula 1!
