What would you really love to do before you kick it??

For me... drive the Nurburgring... drive all the major race tracks in England... Build a Caterham... own some old cars I've got a fancy for (850CSi, Z8, E28 M5 to name a few)... probs a few more if I thought about it.

I'm with you on that one.

I much prefer the Koenigsegg.

Thats a good list sir.
Mine used to be;
Drive the RAC rally in an escort private entry.
Start a kit car firm using a supermini donor car.

Now its changed;
Drive the odd hill climb.
Create some kind of engineering innovation for a car which may happen.
Take me bird through the alps to monaco in a convertible, a night at the casino (win or lose is ok) then drive up to cliffs overlooking the harbour and propose in my tux and her powder blue dress (starting to go a bit mills and boon there).
Establish a racing format a bit like "formula student" which has standard cars, good safety and a progressional league system, worldwide.
Finish my half finished 250mpg prototype that i have had full scale in my flat for 7 years (nutter alert). Snowman
Improve my back injury which will mean i can drive an elise, not an A2.
hmmm, one day soon eh?

Maybe I'm a sad case but my inner geek is calling - tell us about your 250 mpg prototype.. It sounds fun and a bit of a change from just trying to get bhp.

well its a pillion style arrangement. so very teardrop, uses four hub motors with a micro "top-up" genset engine. Sounds fancy and was conceived yonks ago, but TBH now is not original as the VW "1 litre" car Piech built is pretty similar and Volvo have had similar concept cars (about 20months after i spoke to them about my project in 2001, funny eh?).

Google "jetcar de" and you'll see one that is being made using smart power, but I like to think my one wont be so hideous, and has some nifty door, chassis and safety ideas.

Hence i never finished it and did other stuff, like working for a living, gives mates something to laugh at me for as well.
Lookswise its closest to the Yamaha OX 99 crossed with a Westfield XTR4.

In the end I concluded the future is in remote gensets for EV’s (little recharger engines so electric vehicle can have bigger ranges when they are not able to recharge from plugs), and have concentrated my efforts on that, which will be out soon!

Designing cars is easy, producing them at high quality level with a profit margin is tricky to say the least, ask most car companies.

It used to be, to cross America---by car and bike and train and 'plane.
Then it was to own as many different cars and bikes as possible.

Done all them now, so, for now, it is to do something to help Polar Bears.
I am going with 12 other people in 2009, to northern Norway to hopefully do, exactly that.
