Nigel Mansell, Barry Sheene, Boris Becker, Eric Cantona, John Barnes, Ian Botham, Micky Skinner, Eric Bristow, Steve Davis & Frank Bruno........with a nod to Schumi for always being the bad guy and you've gotta love the baddies. So he knocked Damo off the track....Boo Hoo, Hill had much the better car that year in the Rothmans Williams and should have had the title wrapped up by then. Besides, Damo came back and won it in '96 so he gets on my list too.
_________________________ "Forward", he cried, from the rear, and the front rank died. And the General sat, and the lines on the map moved from side to side.
Michael Schumacher was a great technician moreso than any driver before. He knew what the car should feel like and how to get it set up to feel right every time. Other greats were natural talents- Clark, Moss, Fangio all knew how to drive but didn't really know how to translate that into the mechanics of what made a car handle correctly. Michael did. Similar to Graham Hill; Michael took a flagging team and rebuilt it around him. Anyways, a few of my heroes- McRae, Burns, Mansell, Senna, Hakkinen, Moss...
