I read it right through twice, and cant make head nor tail of any of it.

Just had another look, and still befuddled. The only reference to anything to do with cars is the word "axiom", which as far as i remember is one of those infernal single-cylinder microcars, which is bad enough but it didnt even have anything to do with that.
