love them..fantastic build quality, lovely looks and fantastic to drive...not properly fast, but gt car smooth and a great, comfotable distance coverer....
id sell my fully fettled coupe if the car your looking for could be a manual, ticks all the other boxes...
I will keep the Jaguar unless i get a really good price for it. The Lancia and Sunbeam will be spring fun and then hopefully make me some money, aka, biggbn-style! The Accord Coupe will be an extra car, if you like. Not the main one.
if you wanna waft around in airconned luxury, with a lovely growely soundtrack and dont worry too much about handling, about 1500 quid buys the best legend coupe you can find..i love these old cruisers....

I've seen quite a few huge old hunks of Lexus LS for that figure or less. Build quality is apparently amazing although I suspect them to be very characterless.

yes they are really clanky.....thats a bit palmyish surely....find a mid ninties model with all the toys and low mileage and it should still cost buttons and drive every bit as nicely as an accord coupe...
the legend and legend coupe are unloved and unwnated, so i shall agree to differ about em being 'leggy clunkes' at that money. to be honest, id rather buy a 'leggy' car that has had vast amounts of money spent on it and a fsh than one with lower miles and nowt anyhow!!..iv had the chance of a few legends, saloons and coupes over the years, but never (yet) taken the plunge...one, a mint legend saloong with 62k miles and a fhsh was just £1200 on a p plate...
..sure it helps having friends in the trade, but the real bargains lie with old gas guzzlers, no one wants em and you will be amazed what you can buy for a bag of sand or there abouts...
No doubting Lexus build, but your eyes will water at the spares costs - three times that of a Merc of comparitive age and provenance..£400 for an alternator!
