Somewhere out there -I got it sent as an attachment- there is a 2CV robot dancer 'ad'. It's a take on the C4 one and is very funny. Citroen were aware of it and were cool about it so long as it wasn't made to look too much like it had come from the company themselves.
Well we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.
Never liked the advert as it didn't really give you a very good insight into the car. OK, so it's alive with technology - but aren't most cars these days?
I drove a C4 for a week recently as a hire car. Not particularly impressed to be honest. 1.6 engine not as quiet as my Mazda 3 and the interior plastics don't look very robust and are just too plastic-y!
Seats are quite comfortable and it does handle quite well though.
It was inevitable. The insulting "Happy Days" advert did nothing for Citroen. I bet there were loads of Citroen fans complaining about ads on fanboy forums all over the internet.
I have no idea why they left bringing back the dancing robot for so long. Mabye it was to highten fans' anticipation...
