Nowhere near as bad as many say, as it happens!
Even at the hotel bar, it was only £1.80 a tin.

Taxis are very expensive, but eating out isn't that bad really, as Subway and the like have forced independants to calm their pricing somewhat!

Top Gear mag is almost 10 quid over here, its a rare treat I save myself for, but we do have some good local mags - www . wheels . ae is a good one and less than a pound.

I went to buy PB (Performance Bikes) or Superbikes yesterday and they were $22 and $25.30 respectively (about/over 10 pound each) and Top Gear was there for $29.30 (13 poundish?).

Couldnt believe it!

Needless to say, I didnt buy any. Sadly!

The Aus. mags are pretty good and probably cheaper there?
