Ever been on a typical English country B road, 6MDM?
I wouldn't say it was that big.
A Ford Mondeo et al is longer than a Grand Cherokee & it's no taller than a large MPv.
So that makes it ok then, does it?
Personally I feel that the trend towards these sorts of vehicles, whether they are SUVs/4x4s or MPVs is unfortunate - the roads in this country are just not suited to large vehicles such as these - its ok on the Continent or in the US where there is much more space, but B and C roads in this country are just not big enough.
Years ago we had some larger vehicles but they were not common and only used when their use was required - nowadays its all about fashion and stuff the consequences.
