Yes, a 1969 2-stroke has been added to the household.
Spares will be coming from the 'Trabant Man' who has been in the news over the years for his 50+ collection of these weird cars.

Rover 75 Turbo Diesel intercooler
Not very large, useless in a crash, spews petrol/oil fumes all over the place and generally very crude... But I wouldn't mind a go in one! Saw many of them when we first went to Germany in the late 90s but most have gone now....
It's my third, though one had a MIni Cooper engine.
They are very good little cars.

Yes, at the recent meet i went to a quarter had something other than the 2-stroke motor.

These used to come up on ebay but recently its been quiet. They are a useful little fun car. They also did converable models too. A wartburg is more desirable though not as much fun.
