I'm aware that the big brother issues are taking a toll on the servers for C4 forums but the amount of lag I'm experiencing these days on the 4car website and C4 forums is inexcusable.
What's going on? Why, when it takes me 5 mins to post a reply, am I still bombarded with hi-res, bandwidth-sucking adverts?
If there is a problem with the servers being overloaded perhaps it would make sense to have some of the unnecessary content removed so that the servers don't have to transfer as much data?
