If you are Spanish or Italian then you know this is the place to buy a good, well made property for something like 40000 pounds (and thats for a 3 bedroom house, apartment)
Argentina and Uruguay are fantastic places to live, safe, good weather, friendly people and fantastic food and with lots to do. You could buy a 2 bedroomed flat with all amineties in a plsuh part of Buenos Aires as well as a 2 bedroomed beach apartment in a seaside resort like Villa Gessell for a combined total of 65000 pounds.
Or you can buy a fantastic 3 bedroomed NEW apartment in Miraflores in Lima, which if you know it is the most exclusive suburb of Lima for 70 pounds a month.
Why go to anywhere in Europe, ripped off for some dilapidated property or live in Bulgaria. Bulgaria is nice but if you live in some place out in the sticks without knowing any Bulgarian then that so called good investment is not so good anymore.
Forget about Europe. Come to South America and get a REAL bargain.

If you wanted to buy property so you could sell on in a short time and make a tiday profit then thats not going to happen.
But if you want a good, well made property in a good climate and it is safe. Then Argentina (or Uruguay)is a good choice and the properties are very affordable
You mention Brazil. I have been reading book which is recommending Brazil as a more reliable place to buy than say Columbia. Actually the book states that in South America it is Brazil and Argentina which are the safter options to go for.
