My husband and I are just in the process of selling our house and moving to the west coast of Ireland (if anyone ever buys our house!)

We are hoping to move to Ballylongford near Listowel and were wondering if anyone has made a similar move or if anyone knows of any property going for sale in Ballylongford. We have found a property but it will need a lot of work and we just don't know where to start trying to find a builder. If anyone has any suggestions please let us know.

Many thanks

Mary

Hi Munsterman

I contacted property partners but the house has been taken off the market by the vendor, never mind. My husband's family are from Granard in Longford but his family are all over Ireland now including Fairview and Drumcondra in Dub!My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Ballylongford and just fell in love with it. Its also very handy for Kerry airport to get back home (my family are from Stansted) and pop up to Dub to see the in laws! That is if we ever find a suitable house.

Thats strange. I was only speaking to someone in Ballylongford last week and it was still on the market then. Let me find out some more for you and I'll get back to you.
