Hi, I am currently creating a new section on my website with peoples personel experiences when buying/renting property and buying land. I'm looking for steps that must be taken when doing this, problems to avoid and any tips you have to offer people.

So if anyone could help me out with this, that would be really great.

What do you think about investing in property in Cape Verde?

Would you buy? What would you buy? which Island would you buy? At the prices they are on sale for do you think they are good value? If so why?

Just wondering what others think

I was going to invest in CV but in the end thought Morocco a safer bet for short term profit. Morocco has the vast unspoiled beaches, is undergoing massive development (on a far greater scale than CV) yet will still remain unspoiled. Its also only slightly longer flights than Southern Spain.

I also looked deeply into CVs political and legal scape and found it to have a lot of difficulties. I also was concerned about lack of water and the fact its so low lying (sea levels rising). Morocco has snow covered mountains in abundance. The place Im buying has no water issues.

I will sleep at night buying in Morocco.
Saidia is an incredibly prestigious Government backed developemnt and Ill be only 3 hours away from a vast unspoiled playground.

Dont forget the people behind Dubai are now investing billions in Morocco as are large hotel chains - mmm I wonder why?

Cape verde possibly is further behind then other places currently but it has a far better climate then many places with all year sun and best place to compare it with is the caribbean.

The most invested Island is Sal with Sao Tiago close behind and Sao Vicente is coming along also with a 3rd cape verde international airport around 8months from completion.

Property is cheap i would say and there are many companies building lots of property and also big hotel chains moving in like Rui.

I think if you want a property to rent out straight away Sal is possibly best as it has been hosting tourists for longest but if you are happy to wait it out longer any of the islands are fine except two islands which are saved as a kind of national trust site.

I would buy on sal or sao tiago

There really is a lot of money going in to cape verde as they know tourism is something the country can do well.

As for the government there are no issues with everything very diplomatic and fair and safe, and this has been the case for many years.

I really recommend Cape Verde as a great place to invest in as it is only improving and you would be happy to spend many holidays there and would easily rent your property out.

Travel companies will soon be doing package holidays there as more and more flights become available.

This is my opinion but i believe Cape Verde has to be at least sampled.

I am thinking on investing in Cape Verde in a development on Sal called Vila Verde, being built by Tecnicil and sold by MRI.
I would appreciate any information that anyone has about this development/company

Vila Verde

I am currently in the process of adding them and their properties to my website and they seem very professional, and have done what they are now doing with Cape Verde in many countries and seem to of been successful.

Visit my website and email me and we can chat more about investing in cape verde and about your worries of the company.

If anyone else has questions about cape verde, please ask.

Hi
The Vila Verde Resort will be located outside the tourist village of Santa Maria on Sal Island and will cover an area of 45 hectares.
Ofered by Tecnicil, one of the bigger developpers of Cape Verde, it includes Villas, townhouses, and apartments, and a five star hotel.
Also will be full equiped, like country club, pool, spa, big green areas, a lot of pedestrian areas.
Now the developer Tecnicil work with a lot of diferent agencies including McAnthony, but McAnthony is not the only one that are selling the Tecnicil products.
Let me know if you need more info, and i wil give you all the details.

Thanks
Carlos Silva
