We certainly need it now, just as the places are being handed over. Also, there is the issue of the exhorbitant service charge to be discussed. I know that Emaar residents challenged their service charge and now they pay around 6Dhs oer sq. foot, even on the large developments with many facilities. PB
Yes I agree we should continue here. It is the most easy, quicker and effective way of communication between members involved with the IC project especially at this stage of the development. Ali
Just returned from a trip to Dubai yesterday ... .checked out the International city area. Things are moving on quite well, for the Persia building the workmenship is better than expected and is presently going through the snagging phase with the building owners and all the prospective apartment owners. We have signed all paper work with Nakheel and handed over the management of our apartments to exclusive management services. They will be picking up the keys next week. I do have some pic's if you need re-assurance of how things are.The rents to which you should expect are in the region of 38 - 40k Dirhams to which there is a high demand for these apartments because of the closure of many temporary areas that need to close in the next few months.
Just thought you guys might be interested in The Royal Breeze. I just flipped my IC apartment for one in Royal Breeze through my agent. For the same price, I got a full lagoon view apartment. Its amazing and better than the Palm because its less built-up - mostly lagoon water and golf course, but one-third of palm prices!
