You can only stay in the US for 3 months at a time. Then you have to come back to the UK for another 3 months before you can return and stay for 3 months. etc etc etc.
To enable you to stay longer, you`d need a green card. They are very strict on who gets green cards. You need to be quite high up on the food chain, ie a Manager or above, a profesional person, a Uni graduate, buying a business that employs over a certain amount of employees (7, IIRC). Oh and the Americans also like money, so if you`re a millionaire, they`ll give you a Green Card.
Stuart is right though. "Trailer Park Trash" are what normal Americans think of people who can only afford to live in Mobile Homes.
Have you thought about another State? Tennessee have quite decent sized properties for around £35000 - ot least that`s what they showed on "A Place in the Sun" a little while ago. You now what American properties are like, a "small" property by American standards are mansions by ours!

Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.
