Any experienced investors who live in the West Midlands / Birmingham area?

I ask as I have just been to Anthony Robbins weekend (amazing by the way) and I need to begin to model myself on such people who can help me and give me an insight into there life and how they achieved there goals in investments.

This may seem a little up front but i suppose you wont do anything unless you try! Thanks all!

Nick

OH! Not THE ANTHONY ROBHIMS, I can't wait to team up with someone who's done that weekend and then hasn't got a clue what to do, where to do it and who to do it with.
Not exactly a walking ad for the ROBHIMS weekend, are we?
How much did it all cost you by the way? Noooo! Wait till I put my drink down before you tell us.

Lol

It was the best experience I have ever been on, seriosuly... and i was soooo sceptical about it all. Cost £300, but after going I would pay £1000 for it now. I am a new man, full of different ambitions and ready to take on the world! I have jsut joined an investors network club now, got to find my peers and model myself lol!

Glad to see you've got a sense of humour, from time to time you'll need it. Just having a cheap urine take at your expense - don't worry there will, I'm sure, be plenty of opportunity for reciprocation.
On a more serious note - I used to work for one of these miracle workers and couldn't believe the nonsense I heard - wasn't there long, just couldn't tolerate what was being preached to far too many empty headed dreamers, depressives etc.
Word of advice. Tackle your ambitions one by one. If one turns out not to be what you wanted then test and adjust. If your personality doesn't appear particularly suited to any avenue don't be afraid to admit defeat and change course. Be your own greatest critic with out neutering yourself.
Work out your own personality - borrow snippets from others and model yourself on you, noone else. Hype will only lead you to despair and failure. Think logically, think safety, think research, think scepticism, take small steps - thing small and dream big.
There are plenty of well meaning people using this forum but there are some self serving sharks who hopefully in time you will recognize as such and treat them with the same contempt I have for them.
Delete the word invest and insert the word gamble and don't join in the game unless you can afford to lose it all but still have some put aside so you can eat tomorrow. There are great fortunes to be made by the few. Most will make a little to supplement their incomes, many will lose their savings and a few will lose everything - it's entirely up to you which of those groups you will fall into. Good luck and have fun doing it.
