Limousin area nearby Perigord is a nice area and a lot of English Irish people are settling there as houses are still at reasonnable prices..
Just outside the village of Coussac Bonneval, in an attractive little hamlet of no more than seven or eight houses you will find this charming little cottage awaiting renovation that my mother is s e l l ing The 2 1850s stone houses were used to be for gold and Kaolin (for porcelain) miners in Cubertafond hamlet (means covered spring)(30K€ & 45K€).
They are with cob wals inside and exposed timber beams with stone fireplaces.
They would need some work inside to be habitable (create bathroom, add heating) but the main structure is fine.
They could be nice holiday homes.
It is 50 minutes from Limoges Airport served by Ryanair from London in South West France nearby Périgord and 15 minutes from A20 motorway.
