Turkish resorts tend to shut up shop in October time, so that could effect your rental potential.

it hasn't been possible to get a mortgage for turkish property...but now that the lira is settling the banks here are beginning to consider loans for'Konuts' homes. Alanya is a busy town all year round but tourists in winter tend to come from eastern europe ie Russia Scandanavia Finland etc.

I have a villa in Fethiye,Calis I rent it out for about 24months a year but there is a new ski center opening that should add about 12 weeks.
There is a lot I can say about fethiye I think its a great investment I have made over £40.000 on my villa in the pass 3year in profet on the property its self.

I considered Turkey but the season was too short so I went for Saidia in Meditteranean Morocco. Its a 12 month season and what with 3 eighteen hole golf courses,the best facilities in the Med and 3 hour flights this mega resort should rent far better than most and wont suffer the property oversupply that Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria do. Bombs regularly go off in Turkey (2 in tourist resorts last year) and I guess Morocco might also experience this.
