I recently bought an appartment in Montenegro (Kotor Bay) and am looking to buy some furniture. Can anyone recommend where I can buy modern furniture locally and what sort of prices they charge?
The agents are charging more than Eur 7,000 for furniture packages which seems very steep!

Thank you

Richard

Hi Newcomer.
I am actually from down there,so I'll try to give you the advice.
There is big furniture shop just on the exit from Kotor / Tivat tunnel. There are other smaller shops arround there and they all do dellivery. But the best thing will be to go to Podgorica where you can find lot of good and not too expensive stuff and they will deliver and put in place everything you buy even if it is 100km from Kotor. Dellivery is always free.
Be carefull not to bee overcharged so try to bring some local friend with you.
Hope you will enjoy your Boka bay.
Regards from Djani

There are a selection of shops just as you enter Podgorica, namely Namos, Slo-Namos but best of all is EuroSalon which has great furniture, obviously a little more expensive but worth it also on the same road but behind an italian furniture building so you may not see it on the drive down but you will on your return. Apparently there is a new EuroSalon store which has been opened on the way to Budva from Kotor, but I have not been to Montenegro recently to verify that. There are stores in Budva, if you turn right at the traffic lights where the parking area is, if you look up you will see a selection of furniture shops. there is a furniture Fayre in Budva which is good if you are there at the right time. There is a furniture shop on the coastal road also, i think just after you leave Herceg Novi towards Kotor. Upstairs in Kamelia market in Kotor you can but furniture. Good Luck
