Am in the process of trying to cancel my contract for a flat in Planorama but my agents are saying the cancellation needs to be done through a solicitor in Romania, who want to charge almost EURO 2'000 for what seems to be a really simple thing to do!! I have no idea why this evens requires a solicitor.. any advice?

Seems your last 18mths has been a lot of hassle and stress for zero profit. I wonder how common this experience is.....

Planorama sucks. My apartment was supposed to be delivered on 31/08/08. Obviously, that was not the case. But what is the most infuriating is that I havent received any letter from Eurohabitat to inform me about the delay and when is the next delivery date, despite my many emails to them.
I am going to sell it. Anybody knows how is the market in Romania, a good lawyer asking a reasonable price and the approximate price per sqm I could get? Perhapas, even a real estate agent??

hi there

i also bought in the planorama development as part of a group. we find it quite a lengthy process and expensive - not all of the additional expenses we have incurred were explained to us when we agreed to buy. we also think we are being overcharged but haven't really got any other options. lately finding that TRMA take a long to respond to emails. Was ok before when Mark was there but he is looking after Egypt property now and someone else has taken over Planorama who is less efficient.

Anyway, we haven't been able to find a decent priced accountant so would appreciate if anyone could let me know of a good contact and roughly how much they charge per month!

Thanks a lot. completion looks set for Feb 2009. Went to the site last August (2007) and it looks quite good.

Hi there,

I just got to this forum by chance. Nevertheless I think I have talked to some of you on the mail (Hi Mr. Bungle).

I bought an apartment in T4 and this is becoming a real nightmare.

I am not sure if TRMA is giving you any information but as far as I know EuroHabitat has run out of money and DanyaCebus has retired its workers.

Apart from that there is a problem with the authorities regarding the block design.

If any of you has other information, please share it.

Luis
