I happened to watch a rerun of a place in the sun (I think) and they were looking at houses on an island somewhere, and I remember the presenter saying that it didn't get too hot in summer nor too cold in winter, it wasn't in the hurricane paths, but I have no idea where the island was (might have been part of a few islands). I think it was either a former english or dutch colony.... Anybody have any ideas at all? Muriel
Even the Balaeric Islands (Majorca, Minorca, etc) gets chilly in the winter. So no Tshirts all year round. At least not once you got acclimitised.

Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.
Where`s that? I don`t think I have a world atlas to look it up.

It was a small group of islands off the Venezualan coast. I think the Dutch Antilles or Curacao you'd have to check in an Atlas. I can understand why it would stick in your mind, the islands were beautiful the capitol city very Dutch and the properties pretty and good value. Good luck in your quest
I think Isla Margarita, Venezuela is the place you are looking for. It meets all the criteria, it is been tipped in some quarters as the next property 'hotspot', prices there are considerably less than other Caribbean islands.

Also Chavez will be happy to confiscate your property in a year or so...
