As in my previous posts about Albania, this country will be a 'hot potato', no doubt about that. At the moment though, what ever offer one is being made, the law is not in place to be absolutely sure the land you are buying will be yours. You may get paper work and everything, but another person comes along with similar paper work but better connections, you have had it.
We were talking with well informed Albanian last Saturday, yes there are offers for land for 1sqm 40 Euros at the moment! Which is unbelievable, near Durres and very close to the beach, I certainly would buy there, but it is not safe buying yet!

Do go and check it out, go down to Vlora perhaps but do allow time for the road journey. Albania is the next Montenegro, it may be worth coming here as well just to check things out. Ulcjin lies next to Albania with a mega beach, where the Dubai government and business are investing mega sums.
