Andy, i dont think i am, where is Asilah Marina? this Palm Beach resort was released on Monday and is a 3 minute walk from Asliah, where is Asliah Marina? is there going to be a Marina in Asilah?
The only other development im aware of near Asilah is the Royal Asilah Resort which was released early last yr, i believe its sold out.
Royal Asilah Beach is five minutes outside Asilah (Brieche) north on the way to Tangier and Asilah Marina is five minutes outside to the south on the way to Larache. Although it's called Asilah Marina there is no proposed new marina.
Hi - the Asilah Marina I was talking about is Asilah Marina Golf. Big complex (think 5.500 props) on the beach, spreading back around a 9 hole golf course. Price start around 75.000 €uros. Details on Property Showrooms web site

Popcorns, Bravedave - Moroccan Property Consultants are selling this development, as for the planning permission documentation is now available, send Moroccan Property Consultants an enquiry they will be happy to provide the requested info, i wont post the e-mail address / website address as i know CH4 do now allow this, however im sure you will be able to find the website, any issues let us know.
Yes, I have been out to this site and liked what I saw. It should do very well. Compared to its direct competition (La Tanjah Beach Resort which is less than 15 minutes away), the landscape is way more appealing. I have photos of both sites that I can email you (and anyone else for that matter who is considering a Moroccan investment). Cheers.
Hi Momo2, Just to let you and others know that all licenses have now been obtained for Asilah Marina Golf and that ground-breaking has begun. The diggers are in! It's a terrific site and offers great potential for capital gain over the summer. I took pictures when I was out there last month and you are welcome to them. Best wishes
Lots of problems with this developments. Don't be fooled by companies that sell every development in the world, like Property Showrooms, how many checks do they actually do.
Casablanca Properties were developing/promoting this development but the ownership of the site is currently unclear and a Moroccan company is disputing their claims. Simon Piggott, their Sales Manager has just informed me that they have just suspended all sales on this site.
Take my advice - steer clear of the Asilah cowboys. Lots of developments in this area don't have full planning permission. Several have been launched and then withrawn/suspended. (Such as "Royal Asilah" and "Asilah Marina Golf" - where they've even taken down the sign on the road.)
If you do like the area - wait until Emaar or the Al Houri Resorts are launched. Both quality developments from some of the world's biggest developers. If you buy quality it's easier to sell and collects value much faster.

I agree 100% with what you have said. I have been out to Asilah almost every month since Nov. & had a good hunt around. There are at least 2 developments where work has appeared to have started & then halted & the sites have a rather forlorn air. We have been told that it is the usual story of permissions not being given & issues with financing. The good news is that this winter there has been some more work done to facelift the town itself which I hear is as a result of EU money being pumped in. For any of you interested in building your own house rather than off plan...The area around Brieche has received a formal plan for tourist development so you can buy land where at least you know where the planned roads are going to be. Land south of Asilah, although absolutely georgeous, has no tourist plan as yet. So if you buy land here, in 10 years time you can have a road running through your swimming pool (& no compensation). We ended up buying in Asilah medina & will be renovating shortly.
Checked again - there are no title problems here. Construction work is well underway and sales are going along very nicely. ANYONE STILL WORRYING OR WITH LINGERING DOUBTS SHOULD CONTACT MY AGENT jakemalka@yahoo.com This is a sound bona-fide development. Ask Jake to email you the licenses/permits/photos etc. and let's put a stop to idle gossip and negativism and re-examine the validity of this project in the light of the facts. Happy days!
