The sunset resort in asilah looks worth a punt,
I have just booked my viewing visit to the area with Property Borders who are marketing it.

I like the fact that building has already started this giving me extra confidence to go ahead.

Has anyone lase reserved on sunset resort. asilah.

Charlie

When are you going on your inspection trip? I would be interested to hear what you thought when you get back.

Hi Charlie,
The best way to get to Asilah depends on where you live in UK. Only Heathrow & Gatwick run flights to Tangiers direct. With BA & Royal Airmaroc.
The usual way people get there is by flying to Malaga. get taxi to the bus station in Malaga (about 15 min cost approx 17 euros). Catch a coach to Algeciras (approx 1 hr 40 min cost 22 euros be sure to get ask for the DIRECT coach otherwise tou will see far more of spain than you bargained for). You can either get the ferry from Algecira or take taxi to Tarifa (approx 30 min cost about 25 euro). Take ferry to tangiers approx 45 min, cost about 50 euro). Get taxi from ferry to Asilah (they will ask for 30 euros but haggle to 25 euros). It sounds a schlepp but the coaches go every hour or so. & it's actiually pretty painless The main problem is waiting for luggage at Malaga so if you can travel with hand bagage only you'll be OK. The ferries go across at 2 hour intervals from Tarifa. You must complete an entry card that will be given to you at the ferry point, then you have to submit this whilst on the ferry - look for a queue forming & get in quick) ferry . Bear in mind that the last ferry runs around 8/9 pm, that Spain is usually an hour ahead of us, that Morocco operates on GMT time & is therefore always one hour (currently 2 hour due to summertime in Spain). This is particulary important on the return trip!!! Hope this helps

Just got a email from Property Borders with 10% discount on the Sunset resort in Asilah. I would love to invest in this area again but my money is a bit tied down at the moment.

How many of you out their have bought on Sunset?
