I'm currently in the middle of buying some land in Poland. Has anyone gone through this process before and able to offer some advice? Alterntatively, can anyone recommend a reputable solicitor (either in the UK or in Poland) who I can address my questions to?

these pages are full of advice as you will be aware by now, however I would of thought you should have got advice before now as you seem to be committed already. hope it goes okay for you anyway. one pointer is that a lot of the German lookers and buyers have also done the same in Poland. Can you read and speak Polish ? without this skill it does seem daunting to me

Assuming you intend to build on the land, my suggestion would be to make sure you understand the legal and financial processes for that now as well - and not just for the purchase of the land itself.
