Hi,

For all you folks who have bought a flat/house in Dubai, can you please be kind enough to tell the whole procedure to flat/houe buying Dubai?

1, Is it best to have a "middle man" like gowealty or do directly to the developers?

2, How do make the acutal payments (e.g. money transfer or what)?

3, Is it easy to obtain a moregage? And is this done via a Bank in Dubai or UK?

4, What other paper work is involved?

5, What proof do you get, that the flat/house is yours?

Thanks in advance.

Anil

hi anil, answers to your questions,

1, most developers in dubai do not sell direct, but through agents, gowealthy is only one of many, check websites for the best deal for you.

2, payments are usually made by bank transfer, and usually take about 1 week to reach agents accounts.

3, most agents can arrange mortgages, there is also hsbc bank in dubai,

4, all paperwork is (in my case, using gowealthy) done by the agents, they send you relevant paperwork to sign and return, the fees are included in the purchase price.

5, the priliminary contract with original receipts was sent to me after the second payment i made, and original contract is sent after a fee of 2% of purchase price is paid to the developer.

i hope that i have answered your questions, but do your homework, and shop around for the best deal for you, check all of the dubai realestate websites.. Cool
