Yes we did, we were just so lucky, but we want to build a 'home' not purely for investment.
There are still properties around, but the prices are going up by the hour, I found! I did a recce every month to get a feeling for properties, giving a precise indication to the estate agent what we wanted, which did not mean much, they have more clients then houses!
The Russians caused us a lot of problems, as they go with an open suitcase full of money to all the best properties- how much do you want, here is an extra 10000 Euros, plus all the back handers that are dished out to whom ever!
But it is still worth it, one has to hang in there and not give up.
Find a first class lawyer, ideally locally recommended,open an account in a good Bank can recommend the Opportunity Bank,there are hundreds of estate agents, check them and try several. Good Luck!
