How many people do you know that have been to Turkey on their holidays?
The truth is that most, if not all of us knows somebody who has been to Turkey, and what you find is that most of them like it. So, if you want to invest in a place that is going to give you good rental returns and reasonable capital growth, where are you going to buy? Romania? Bulgaria? Morocco?
Seriously, you should be buying in Turkey!!
The amount of times I have been approached by a new "expert" on the block who tells me the only place to buy an investment property at the moment is Romania or some other Eastern European place I've definitely never visited and sometimes, never heard of! One question stumps all but the hard-liners.
"Once you have achieved your investment, who will you sell it to?"
I usually get looked at as if I'd kicked over their snowman, but it's usually something they haven't thought about.
I know I'm biased. I only sell Turkey, but that's an educated choice I've made. I am able to sell any property anywhere, but I choose not to. Turkey IS the best investment, but not just that. It's also a mesmerizing and beautiful country.
The main thing is that Turkey is still cheap, and according to some, still an emerging market. It is also a place that is proving VERY popular with British holiday makers. It has good links with airports and more and more budget airlines are flying into Dalaman, the third largest airport in Turkey.
So, Turkey is popular and will rent out well, grow in capital, offers mortgages, and will be popular in five, ten, or twenty years time for end users wanting a second home in the sun.

I would appreciate your take on the news that legislation is going through parliament suspending the rights of foreigners who currently have property in Turkey, from selling to other foreign nationals.
