We found by chance, a property that ticked all our boxes and more.... we are renovating and loving every minute, 10 minutes from Caen, 2 minutes from the shops, and welcoming neighbours dispite the Brits wiping out their village during WWII, they share we share, what more could anyone want. Since, buying we have been researching the hidden history of the property and found it is steeped with interesting past owners, they estate agents were totally unaware of the real age, and it's not 1920/30 as thourght but 12th century, and a monastry was here.. so the story continues, what better way to enjoy active vacations but reliving the past of the greatest folk in time... and all to ourselves...
