Hello
We bought a trulli farmhouse with olives in december. It has absolutely no facilities and has no flooring. It could be very nice eventually but we have to do the work ourselves. We do not speak Italian. Does anyone know anything about suppliers in the Ostuni-Fasano area, and the cost of renovation. The house needs new windows and doors as well. Can we put in septic tank without planning permission? We only plan to go for 2 weeks in May and I am not looking forward to staying there at all as in December it was Terrible. Thanks for any advice. PS We still don't have the deeds, the notary was very casual. The seller asked for 18 separate cheques!

Hi Kathy I am buying a Villa in Ceglie and the estate agent has a builder that we have had a quote from to build on suit bathroom E8000 ws his quote. I can get his information for you if you wish?. What I would like from you is the name and address of the Notario/Notary and does he/she speak english. As the estate agent has supplied us with his Notario and although I do trust him I just want to be a bit cautious and appoint some one who is nothing to do with the estate agent.

Thanks for your help

Tony
