Sorry Gem... DON'T DO IT GUYS!!! I ordered them and they took about 6 weeks to come and I got a card from the post office saying that I had to pay £11.50 customs charge to pick them up!!!!

Dave you must know some people... wanna get some of your boys down for me and we can sort out Amazon?! I'm sooo angry, they better let me return it! Just going to pay a bit more for them and order them from somewhere else now! Oh yeah and it was £11.90 customs charge, the man in the post office said they just randomly apply it to certain packages from the states!!! So you may not get the charge, but I still wouldn't trust them to send you the right thing in any decent length of time!! Feck-in ejits!!- as my dearly departed Irish Grandad would say

They aren't allowed to charge customs if the item is under £18

I was too angry to email then before they would have got a barrage of rage and abuse from me. I hate companies ripping you off and messing you around, gonna email them now and give the a calm telling off
Well they've responded and, even though it pains me to say it, fair play to them they've said I can keep the Friends one and they'll send me VM all for no extra charge (too right!).
So fingers crossed it arrives before Christmas 2008!
That's good. Gotta give Amazon props for sorting things out.
I had an MP3 player from them once, died after two months, they gave me a brand new one and a partial refund because the price had dropped about £40 in that time

Really? that is good, yeah I cannot complain now to be honest, I've had two different peopls (Claire and Dan) sending me nice, apologetic emails to sort it out, so now all is forgiven! And I never bothered to buy the Friends boxsets as my Sis has them all, so I guess it's a bonus that i now own that, although technically I did pay for it with the customs charge.... **waffles along to self**...
It finally arrived today!! I just went and got it from the post office and there was no customs charge either. Strangely enough my Dad gave me & my sisters our presents yesterday as he's going away for Christmas and he bought the VM S1 boxset for my sister! I was like "What? After all that I could've just borrowed it from you?!".... AND he got it from Amazon with no problems, so I guess it was just my bad luck....
Just to say......... I have finally got around to watching this & it's a pretty ace show, so if anyone has time on their hands I'd highly recommend it!
