Monday afternoon now and I'm off work cos my heating has broken!!! Freezing my butt off! Think I may start some Christmas shopping online so as not to waste the day

Christmas is looming [sigh] and i don't know what to get boyfriend for Christmas.
Can't get him dvds, music etc cos' he has enough already and doesn't watch them anyway.
I can't get him aftershave and all that boy stuff cos' he has LOADS.
I already took him shopping for clothes about 3 weeks ago... eugh!!

I was thinking... if i can...
Taking him to Newcastle [his fave footy team, eugh]...having a tour of the Newcastle FC footy stadium..and then hopefully going to a match next day [cos they won't show you round the footy ground on the same day as a match].

Thats gonna cost a bomb though...hmm..[train ticket to Newcastle alone is £60 each]
Does anyone have any input on the idea?!
Are there any half decent hotels or whatever we can stay in..i dont knowww!!!

When are you thinking of going Martha? My husband went to Newcastle for his stag do they stayed in a flat place I don't think it was that expensive, I can find out more for you! But if you're worried about money, how about a trip to Alton Towers instead? You can get good day trip coach deals, espes in term time!
