is there anybody else on this site that is under 20? i have loved river cottage for so long but am only bout to turn 19!!! slightly worried that am onlyy teenager interested in running my own small holding!

I reckon you should get in and don't worry about age. I suspect that with all these programmes about small holding/growing your own, they are really trying to tell us something. Being able to survive without the supermarket umbilical chord is something that may help you more than you can imagine right now.

im 30 but everyone I talk to about having chickens or growing my own just say how daft I am. Id love to prove them all wrong.
