I have purchased a small amount of land (about 6 acres and wold like to use part of this for growing vegetables. How large a plot would you recommend starting off with and what vegetables would you suggest starting off with. Is it worth making a polytunnel now or should I wait. Also were would be the best place to buy the polythene as I was going to use scaffold and gas/water pipe.
