Hi folks,
I am hoping someone out there can give me some advice, my daughter of 6 completely shuts her dad out. she won't talk about school, she barks if he asks her anything, she yells if we are laughing, if I am not there she kicks up a fuss and will not stay with him... they have a very distance relationship and she will not do antying with him unless I am involved... any thoughts.

A friend of mine her son is like this with her and will only ever do anything if his dad is not involved.

Im not trying to cause offence by this, by this but has she ever been hurt or anything like that by another man. As this may think that her dad is the same and so she thinks that by you being there you will protect me.

Not saying there it couldnt be anything else, just a thought thats all.
