Surely, even the good little sheep would welcome some sign of orignal thought from TV bosses instead of praising them as they continue scraping the barrel until there is simply no barrel left to scrape.
Once upon a time, original meant "new", "different" and "entertaining". Now original seems to have been regarded as an alien concept which the execs are unwilling to even attempt to understand.

Give it time and - sooner (fingers crossed) or later - a management decision will be made based on money. So called "reality tv" cannot sustain itself for much longer. There is nowhere left to take the idea.
I too was once a fan of reality tv during the early days. I found it very entertaining (during the 5 minutes it took me to smoke a fag).
Rapidly depleting viewing figures will force a positive change. Until the losses are too much to ignore, broadcasters will churn out the same junk on the grounds that they're relying on the "sheep" to not be insulted by their conclusion that a simple mind is so easily pleased.

reality tv was a truly great invention - in the beginning. But now too much too often. Each programme is basically thesame - it's a game of, how can we rip these people apart. Purely based on human nature and the fact that people are obsessed by other peoples lives
