I havn't watched because my built-in crap detector goes off each time I even think of the vile programme, or its namesakes such as fame academy, pop idol, dancing on ice, strictly come dancing, i'm a Celeb, big brother, wife swap, joseph, maria, the salon and love island!
Well what happened there? Leon and Rhydian final, Rhydian outshines Leon by a mile and Leon wins it! Only consolation is that Rhydian will have the last laugh.

Thank God that's all over. Look forward to the Judges selecting real talent next year otherwise X Factor will propel itself into obscurity along with the winners . Rhydian looked good because all then other acts were so appalling talent-wise. Leon seems a nice guy - i am guessing the whole of scotland must have voted for him. Nicky and Bevereley were ok talent.

Rhydian 'looked good' because he was good, end of. The only ones with talent were Nicky who was voted out last week and Rhydian. Lloyd-Webber is after Rhydian so I hope he goes on to be a big star.

yes its easy to look very good when those you are competing against are mediocre.
I am convinced that the brother and sister duo, Lame Difference only stayed as long as they did because Le Cowell was their mentor. If they had been with anyone else, their feet would not have touched the ground and they would have been from very early doors, but an irritating memory like last years mosquitos.
For that reason I am absolutely convinced that the whole thing was rigged.
I have never and will never vote in this type of phone in as there is nothing in it for me, I really don't care much who wins, although I too think Rydhian was amazing and surely should have won. The only thing is that I assume most of those doing the voting are teeny boppers and therefore Leon would have appealed to them more, maybe?
I agree about Same Difference. If they weren't one of Simon's groups, he would have slated them from the beginning and they wouldn't have lasted like they did. Simon is an influential judge and that's the only reason they made the final.

I agree with what you say. Even though I can't stand Rhyddian he has an excellent voice (for musical theatre). I was very surprised that Nicky was voted off and SD (utter rubbish) and leon were left in.

last year's x factor was RUBBISH. mainly because of the CRAP winner and his annoying mentor. dannii is such a suck up to simon it ruins the show completely.
apart from her interference, simon, shaz and louis i thought worked well as a 3some. And its obvious now that every year the 16-24 boys category will win due to the fan base of the show.
2007 x factor; talent definitely didn't win through. rhydian and nikki were robbed.
