The impending start of this terrible TV show known as Big Brother is almost upon us. Why can’t C4 just give it a rest and put something good on instead for a change?

What’s so interesting about watching a bunch of idiots stuck in a house for a few months; that do nothing but eat, sleep and argue. Why does anyone bother to watch such drivel? Can you honestly say that you enjoy watching night vision footage of some dim-witted know body sleeping?

No but I do like watching dim witted no bodys locked in a house for 12 weeks

Why is that, don't you find them totally annoying, or ever wonder why you aren't doing something more productive?

Its about as productive as you spending your time saying how much you hate the thing on here.

nearly everyone i know loves big brother so you are just wasting your time arguing about it because you are going to loose

i say the same thing about football, cricket, des and mel, paul o'grady.....but i wouldn't deny people who want to watch it and say it shouldn't be on be a bit boring if we all liked the same things

It's strange that you imagine someone who dislikes reality TV to be old. C4 have no trouble showing this crap simultaneously on 3 channels for hours on end, yet see no problem with cutting GT racing down to 25 minutes or giving away cricket coverage completely.

The market is satuated with Reality TV now, its good in small doses but to have over 60% of all new shows being in the "reality" genre means that quality programming is suffering and being shelved for something that is cheap to make and horrible to watch. Thats why there is so much of it about nowerdays.

I wish TV companys would go back to quality over quantity or put a little more thought into what they show us, and if it has to be a reality show, can they at least make it interesting and not the same old rubbish they repeat year afer year. Do they not have an imagination after their initial idea?

like megzie said before watch another channel some people love the show and watch it and others dont so why dont u watch something else and stop sayin how much u hate it when other people like it

Oh yeah like all the ITV channels with stupid love island and pop star idol, C5 with its stupid American shows and the BBC with antique programmes and then some silly staged dancing thing… what great alternatives.

u can always go on the internet or listen 2 music thn

I do have freeview, but the extra channels are full of quizzes, stupid RnB stuff, news shows where they don't ever get round to saying anything informative, shopping channels and repeats of what has already been shown on proper TV. So really there is nothing on it worth watching.

I do agree with you there actually. BBC3's alright though sometimes, it has two pints!

Yeah… Two Pints go banished from BBC2. I don’t mind though as it was still funny.

I don't remember when it was on BBC2, I don't think I've ever watched BBC2 actually

It started out on BBC2 on monday evenings about 6 years ago, since then it has gradually been moved across to the digital channels.
