The boy that kira was with at that bonfire, he got up in the middle of the night and I presume went to the toilet at the edge of the lake/sea and seen a light.

He came back different, like he was better looking or something?

its not larkins daughter, its tom underlays daughter, kira. he did come back different cos the 'alien' got him.

My point is that these aliens appear to effect everyone differently, that boy looked like he was glowing!

I reckon that's because the aliens have not yet quite got the hang of we humans as yet and they're having a Slightly different affect on each 'adopted' body shell/ host.
One example of this state is almost certainly Underlay's wife ~ the good doctor has a way to go yet, ... before 'they' have taken over completely.

As far as we know, the aliens haven't yet killed anyone have they. I know there was that one wrapped around the skeleton but we don't know the cause of death. So i'd definitely go with the theory that hes been 'invaded' lol. I wonder what their aim is going to be eventually?? Anyone have any ideas, apart from the usual 'take over the world' lol

Yes, i agree with BB and there is a prime example. When Mariel was giving Jesse her blood and his body couldnt take it. The when Russ investigated, a doctor said that here was too much haemoglobin in the blood given (whales and dolphins have high amounts of haemoglobin to allow them to stay underwtaer for long times). He said there was a mistake in the transaction, I think its bullhonkey, its just that Mariels bood type has changed and she herself can stay underwater for a long time like a whale. I dont think that she can breathe underwater because she would need gills, like a fish.

ive seen all the episodes and im not going to give any spoilers away ...but one thing i got very early on in the series was that the "hurricane" survivors were not being taken over at all, i made an assumption in the beginning that as this is basically a remake of Invasion Of The Body Shatchers that its was Aliens and that the people changed(not taken over) were actually alien but with blend of all the memories and experiences or the original humans ...now im not certain that the creatures are alien but nothing so far has made me change my mind about the process the invaded undergo ..

If you have seen all the episodes, you cannot possibily be saying that. Have you seen eps 11 - 13? You clearly saw what I saw.
