I dunno what it is about her, maybe its the whole obssession with water thing but she really scares me lol.

other than the idea of her now being an alien or turning into one (which I will admit is most likely), has anyone thought of another reason y she could b acting strange since her ordeal?!

Perhaps the aliens took her and revealed to her the secret of something amazing and gratifying and now she's smiling to herself because of her secret - basically she's being smug and secretive.

I thought that Mariel, the Priest and the Sheriff were all infected by the aliens. Mariel reminds me of Joely Richardson from Nip/Tuck.. thats not who it is is it??

She is so creepy...so is the priest and the sheriff...something is up with them but I've got a feeling nothing is what it seems

These strange expressions the "zombies" use, so 1950's zombie B film. Its the 21st century, more imagination needed. 3 episodes and guess what, none the wiser. Is this rubbish made by the makers of Lost (Lost Interest as I call it now)

Course their infected...but not by aliens. Whatever the lights are in the water thats whats infecting people. You saw the guy in the wetsuit?? The people that are "survivors" of the huricane are obviously infected, and while still themselfs it seams their not all there.

I think it has ALOT to do with water tho...she was obsessing over the water i think because it felt good on her skin and she was dehydrating or something

I dont think its aliens, just seams the obvious answer it must be government thats why they are quarantining off the area around town to make them a "test community"

I don't think it's aliens either...just too obvious and you might get sick of it all...well I would...but it has ALOT to do with the water like you say...I think the plane crashed which then caused everyone to get hurt like their cuts and the water might be infected which makies them infected too...and I've read somewhere about these little thingys that burrow into your skin and they're little wormy things (gross lol) so maybe they're in there too which then makes the little holes and then that's what Merial found in that guys head...oh...and the lights are the government testing the water cos it's infected...hmmmm...I'll shut up now...

There better be more to the plane crash, theres gotta be something about it, it was written in that episode for a purpose!! Well somehow..

...toms ex wife's ring ended up near the supposed wreckage peice so thats quite suspicious especially since we can presume she was on that flight. Maybe that its not the first time the town has been "invaded" they did hint to some previous hurricanes.
