I dunno actually, it seams their "bugging" humans whatever they are. But they rose from the sea so either they were allready there or fell from space in the eye of the hurricane. Either way the government seam to be trying to clean up after them and they went off in different directions all over the world so...im guessing aliens

I think that rose it a special person just like john locke is special in lost What do all think?

I just think shes normal...all TV shows seam to be doing that now. Locke on Lost and even 5 years back Speilberg did it on "Taken" with that girl so i think shes normal...if theres anyone who is "special" or more evil...its Tom the Sherrif

She isnt...end of episode 2 Tom said he saw them too...and so far we PRESUME these are the only two who have seen the lights, there could be others. Plus now people are starting to see them in the water

he seems very mysterious hes hiding something i cant wait to find out more about this character.

i just trawled imdb because it was doing my head in trying to remember where i recognised him from now i know,he played captain willy sharpe in armageddon.

i actually think hes a very good looking bloke he has a sort of kevin bacon quality about him.

on the topic of the daughter Rose, has anyone else noticed that she isn't in the photo at the top of the screen, but everyone else is??

I think maybe there must have been some whatever they are supposed to be, arrived before the hurricane. Tom seems to be guiding his wife through some kind of 'change'. She is confused about how she is acting, but there was definatly a look of secret recognition between her and the priest, through the hospital window. I think it's a kind of 'Body-snatchers' where the process is delayed.
