1. great programme - has me completely hooked! Im realing enjoying it - more accessible and interesting than lost. I lost my way with lost after 16 episodes. 2. Invasion - are these hybrids just carriers? 3. whats wrong with the butterfly? 4. two women pregnant both have connections to russell - is this where the plot lies?
Possibly they are not hybrids at all and just carriers like you say. they have only been partly inaded after all. Maybe they have only been changed in a fertility kind of way to re-populate with hybrids.
There's is definitely something different about Russell. Personally I think he has been previously invaded and is not part of the same invasion at all.
I always wondered why have Larkin as pregnant at all. And why does Russell have to be Cuban anyway. There has to be, plot wise, something is both of these things and their not just coincidences! Well im hoping so anyway!
Who is the second woman pregnant connected to Russell? I think the butterfly was a metaphor for the change taking place after being invaded. It was used as an example when Mariel was explaining to the kids what happened to her. It does seem like the hybrids main purpose is to reproduce 'pure' aliens.

i think the newtaskmaster was referring to Mariel and Larkin. I know Mariel isnt pregnant but the repercussions would be huge if she would be! Wonder if more than one baby/hybrid would be born?!
