What if the US Government (CIA) were trying to create a super soldier out of the hybrids. We saw that Szura is working with the Coastguard. Maybe the CIA and Szura are working together without the military knowing about it. It would make sense as to why they need weapons and are being trained in Guerilla style warfare. Maybe they aren't trying to take over the world after all. Theres been enough change in storylines why not one more big one!!!

Plus Russell and Tom both working in government related jobs sort of such as a ranger and sherrif.

hmmm... well its obviously in the best interests of the people and the government to discover the true capabilities of the hybrids. and yes, as always, the military will be very interested in using these capabilities to their own advantage if necessary.

what bothers me though is that we haven't seen the military experimenting on the water creatures. I mean they've been testing the hybrids but what about the creatures themselves. I really wanna know how they evolved and how they survive in their natural environment.

but back to the military thing.. yeah it is weird how the they have let this stuff go on all this time and it seems as though Szura has practically been allowed to do what he likes.

so there must be some hidden agenda by the military/intelligence services.

With the military, the Air Force may not be aware of the water creatures and are only testing there own pilots secretly cos they don't know the truth around the rest. in terms of the military doing it, it could be like an ''area 51'' experiment...

I don't think the air force is acting independently. where would they get the money/resources/expertise to set up research on the crew without any other agencies knowing??
