think about it. half cop, half environmental scientist. the guy is dedicated to protecting his home. he lost his home/family once already and hes not gonna let it happen again.

I believe Russel is the epitome of all that is good. I believe he represents the side of humanity in his search for truth, he stands up for what he believes in and his courage and strength are unmatched.

Like Tom then! All he does is to protect his family. Russell only seems to be bothered about Mariel and their children, doesnt seem to be bothered at all about Larkin and their unborn baby. He runs out on them at every opportunity!!

Just something for you all to think about, all the clues are there but why are you all so against the idea of Russell being a hybrid?! I think it would be a fantastic twist. Plus it doesnt look like to me that being a hybrid is a bad thing at all!!! Big Grin So it would only improve the character or Russell. They are only 'upgrades' of their old selfs!!

wrong!Smile Thats not true. Russel is worried about Larkin and the baby as well. He only runs out all the time because he is looking for answers. and Larkin knows that.

the difference between Russel and Tom is; Russel is concerned with the here and now, whereas Tom is more concerned with the future and what it means for the hybrids.

Tom is a hybrid and its the hybrids that hes trying to protect. what about his daughter? he hasn't paid much attention to her lately has he.

There are clues suggesting he could be a hybrid same as there are clues pointing to the fact that he is a regular guy just trying to get to the truth.

its up to you which clues to follow.

and you say it would be a fantastic twist but imo it just wouldn't fit with the story.

I disagree. Episode before last Larkin even says to Russell as he once again goes to walk out on family 'oh no you dont your not gonna walk out on us again!' and follows him outside, so even she has noticed!

anyway, yeah I just saw that episode yesterday. I'm not disagreeing with the fact that Russel is neglecting his family.

but like I said, hes just trying to get some answers, for the sake of EVERYBODY concerned. this concerns his family too, you know. until he finds the truth about whats going on then they are all at risk.

I think Russels actions are justified, and what he does is for the sake of his family and his home.
