partly, and because in the series 'Taken' a few years back there was a child who was named 'alison' because it was the nearest her mother could get to 'alien'. she was part alien heritage and was concieved as an experiment abord an alien spacecraft. it was an amazing series, even if if scared the wotsits outta me (i was about 8)

Taken was amazing. i wish i had videod it or could find a dvd....

basically it was about several generations of two families who were being 'taken' by aliens onto their craft and experimented with. the aliens could shapeshift and one managed to get a human woman pregnant, starting a line of part-aliens. three generations later a daughter (late teens - quarter alien) from the part-alien family, and a son (similar age) from another family who had been being regularly 'taken' for three generations but who had never met, were 'taken' aboard the craft and the child - alison - was concieved, but neither man or woman remembered anything about the incident except in broken dreams. eventually when alison is about 9 she finds her father and brings her parents together, and she has amazing alien powers - she heals her father when he is shot and can connect telepathically with the aliens. the military want her because of her powers and her alien connection and heritage, and she has to repeatedly save her family from them, even when she is abducted by the military.

it lasted about 10 programmes and was b****y amazing

im amazed it made any sense at all....

i dont remember taken but i loved v - which is about to repeat on sci - fi anytime soon

Hi Becky, i think its already started. It was mention on another thread on here a couple of days ago.

is the baby an alien, i havent watched for a while my blokes been putting them on to dvd for me to watch when i can keep my eyes open past 8pm

Hi Becky, not that we know of. There is a theory going around that Russell may have been invaded sometime ago so the baby will be part alien.

Not sure if I believe it myself but will wait & see.

At least Larkin is interesting and keeps things hopping ..
I'm hoping Mariel is killed off since I really think she stinks on the series but Shaun is in love with her so that's not going to happen ..
Personally I think Invasion is a goner and at one time it really upset me but after the never-ending Mariel fixation it makes no difference to me now since Larkin is never going to get a better story since Mariel is always going to be front & center and she sucks on Invasion ...
