Well apparently they are saying that a second season is pending on the dvd sales of the first one.
But as William Fichtner has already left for Prision Break and no US station has picked the rights up as of yet, I think its just a ploy to get people to but the box set.

i think invasion was just brought to our screens at the wrong time

Lost and Desperate Houswewives had just had rave reviews and it would have taken something really really good to even match it so I think that it would have done a little bit better if it was shown either before or a while after Lost and DH was shown. Also it wasnt given the best slot ever, 8pm on a sunday, come on!!!!

There is no knew invasion series, i have contacted ABC several times about this matter as i was heart broken on how the show ended, according to what i found out it was shelved to make room for a couple of new series, I also asked channel 4 what was happening and they confirmed no new show, i am hoping one of the other American networks take the story up as it had quite a following just not as big as Lost

Its a shame Invasion was cancelled, there are a lot of great shows that have been cancelled, Tru Calling, Futurama, Stacked, the list goes on...

well you have to think abot it from a different view, if theres no money coming in, the cant make it, but i also think it was very hyped up and it was i hate to say a bit of a let down, it was good, but not as good as i expected, i hate to be a critic but it wasnt the best show to come out of america, it was dragging on and then it wasnt rounded off. Personally i thought the series was ok, but i do know lots of people who think it stinks, and i have to admit it isnt the best but it would have been better if they rounded it,off, they knew it wasnt going to well, they should have reshot the final scenes and rounded it off, making everyone happy!

It wasnt the worst ending IMO. The thing that made it a bad ending is the fact that it has been cancelled and we wont find out whats happened to Larkin. If there was to be a second season I think it would have been a good cliffhanger.

Yeah it was a great show, its a shame another network never picked it up. If the ratings were that bad surely the writers would have known and could have written a better ending so everything was resolved.

i wish they would bring Invasion back, i mean it did get off o a slow start but it would have made excellent watching if they brought out a second series! and i know that they didnt get the viewing they wanted but never give up! I think they should bring out a second series and if it isnt successful after a few shows, then they can get rid!

Maybe they should do a film or a mini-series to complete the story

I heard ages ago that there wasnt going to be another invasion series beacsue it was awful? I enjoyed it at the start but then it just got boring.I'm think I'm probly wrong but my friends both thought the same.
