oh right, got ya, thanks for that fatcat. I thought that was a bit harsh to sell for episodes for £44.99!!!! LOL!

So did I! I know HMV can be expensive but even that is extreme for them, lol.

Just read on Digital Spy (Tube Talk in the Television section) that Invasion has been cancelled.

Just been on Digital Spy, and it's true, ABC are dropping Invasion because the viewing figures have dropped from 17m to 9m.
One ray of hope, a new network called The CW want to take Invasion on for 2006-07. Perhaps if we all plead with c4 they'll buy season 2.

I watched episode 21 last week, think theres only a couple more to go ... It took me a good while to get into it and now I am hooked they are axing it.
They did the same with Surface, I loved that only to find once I had watched season one they were not making anymore.

this REALLY sucks...the season finale is SOOO good and there wont be a resolution to it!

The rumours on the Net strongly suggest that The CW won't now be taking over the production of Invasion, as they've realised just how expensive it is to produce.

The CW have not taken over invasion. its gone. I wish they would shoot like a last few episodes..like a mini 4 part series... cuz you cannot leave it the way the season finale did!!!

I am so gutted! How can they dump such a great show and yet other rubbish shows get series after series? It's not fair.

Invasion Star: Year 2 Would Have Been Even Better

Upon hearing that Invasion was Missing in Action from ABC's fall schedule, TVGuide.com caught up with William Fichtner — fittingly, just as he was leaving the office of series creator Shaun Cassidy.

"In this business, it’s the nature of the beast," Fichtner says of Invasion's "11th-hour" (his words) snuffing. "It is what it is. All you can do is look around and wonder, 'Did you do everything you could have done?'"

What the sci-fier didn't do, apparently, was earn its keep. "I’m not saying anything that’s a mystery to anybody, but it was arguably one of the most expensive shows to make, and if [ABC is] going to spend that much money, I’m sure they want a show that matches it in their ratings."

Tonight's season/series finale will now really leave fans wondering what might have been. Based on his talk with Cassidy, Fichtner says Season 2 "would have been even more exciting than where we went this year."

Oh? Details, please. "I think you’ve got to ask Shaun that one," the actor says with a wink. "I can’t tip the bag on that."

The first 15 mins of the finale are just awesome(and the rest aint bad either),it makes 24 look pedestrian maybe if they had put that in the middle of the season rating might have been much higher

Yes, Invasion has been cancelled here in the United States. I actually don't know what country you all are in, but I came across this page while searching for "Invasion" pictures. You see, we have started this gigantic campaign to get Invasion back on TV. We currently have a pet-ition that you can find a link to here:

I thought I had watched invasion series 2, I thought the end of the first series was when they were pushing everyone into the water from the big warehouse, and the end of season 2 was where he walked into the water with the girl.

Or was it just aired in two parts in the UK

It has been that long since it has been on I have forgotten what has happened.
