you know the kids mum. I think she might be an alien. Thats her skeleton and the wedding ring was hers, which she lost. All thats left of her is her skin, on an alien. Also the daughter said that she smelt different, and the daughter thinks theres something weird and that thats not her mum...

How come it isn't the Dr's ring? She lost a ring, they made so much out of it, and you're saying it's a red herring!!!!! They went on and on about her losing that ring. None of the show so far makes any sense.

on the back of the picture of Tom and his first wife, Grace, it says the date they were married and "2 become 1" which is the same infomation that the ring has on it so pretty much confirms that the ring belongs to the first wife. The ring was found in the boot of the car after the skeleton went missing, so we assume it was found with the skeleton.

Stuff may not make sense at first cos if it did then we wouldn't have a reason to watch the next episode would we?!

The problem is when the CONTINUITY and CLUES don't make sense, that is poor writing not great mystery

Who's skeleton is it? If it is his, why did he has his first wife's ring with him? And why have they showed his second wife losing her wedding ring at exactly the same time as they find his first wife's ring?

Also the jeweller said the ring had ben adapted for a new ring size and the original wedding date covered. That would imply that the new added message, AFTER THE WEDDING DATE HAD BEEN COVERED WITH THE RING SIZE CHANGE, was for the second wife, so why is it the same message on the photo of his first wife?

i obv. wasn't listening when they mentioned about the date being covered up! that's interesteing though. Wat sicko would use the same ring for his 1st wife and his 2nd wife if thats the case? that's just wierd!! I'll have 2 pay more attention

Cant answer about the two become one bit cos i assumed that had always been there.

I still think we're supposed to believe the skeleton is the first wifes though.

*Sigh*, the ring does not belong to Mariel, Big_Cat is confusing everyone. The ring had a date, which could be read "2.14.86", which was the marriage date and it also had message "2 become 1". The date could still be seen under the message. The ring is eithers Toms or his dead wife's. Just had to clear that up

everyone is assuming the ring is off the skeleton.

Wasn't the ring found in the empty boot?

Doesn't this mean that the ring belonged to whoever removed the bones?

That can be sqw, except for one thing, the ring has the date of the Underlay wedding and the same message form ring was on the back of the Tom and his dead wife picture.

So to further elaborate on that matter, it makes you think, Dave thought that it was the guys in the military truck who passed by. But it could also have been Tom who took it and for some reason decided to wear his old ring during the process. Me being so far ahead, i already know the people (or person, maybe neither) who took it.
