Thought id open a thread for those that watch last nights new episode on e4 to discuss what happened.

Things i noticed that seemed significant were:
-'they' can breathe underwater i.e. when tom held that young lad under the water yet he did not drown
- the weather being different, in one place raining and the other sunny or was this just a red herring. when Larkin was being followed by that car then there was torrential rain yet sunny on the Glades.
- the lights under the water were humans/aliens swimming after all!
- Russell arriving in the US by boat on his own without his parents!!! Whats that about??!

Hi Lea, its just starting to get interesting now isn't it.

I am not sure if they can breathe underwater of if they can simply hold there breath for longer. I found it fascinating. I think someone related to dolphins and whales who can hold their breath for exceptionally long periods of time.

I noticed the weather too. I don't have enough information about weather systems out there to know if its relevent or not.

And the lights under the water. Hmm I initially thought that they were the aliens before they invaded. But now it looks like the humans can go underwater and turn into these fish? I wonder if this is something that happens at a later stage and the alien has to spend a certain amount of time within you before it is able to do this. Maybe the guy was one of the first to be invaded. I don't know if Tom has been invaded or not. If he has I would say it was when he survived the plane crash all those years ago. And if thats the case I wonder if he has been swimming around the lakes like one of these fish?

And Russell, well I felt quite upset for him, being sent to the US alone and his parents never following on. There is more to learn about that I am sure.

I do have to admit that last nights E4 episode really gripped me! Previously I had been watching it but wasnt all that taken in by it!

I seen in an earlier episode that Mariel can seem to breathe under water, like Lissy im not convinced if they can breathe or just hold their breath!

I also think that something happened to Tom in that Plane crash, I dont know if he has been invaded or is Like the leader of the aliens (I no that sounds mad)

Last nights episode of invasion certainly intrigued me and has been the best episode so far.

i also found interesting the part when Tom said to the boy after he had held him on the water that there is a place he could send him so he can learn what to do and understand about himself a bit better (cant remember exact wording). thought this was interesting because it hinted at the possiblity of some really secure camp full of aliens. wonder if Larkin will find this place and announce it to the world!!

Yes it has started to pick up pace now.Great first glance at the aliens.We need to try and urge people to keep watching because i have people on another forum who only watch the channel 4 ep's said that they have given up watching after a 'boring' channel4 ep yesterday.I have heard that from now on it get realy good.The strange man at the end who was setting the tagger thing off is very intresting.Some people say that that suggests that the people who have been invaded have the ability to swim in the water however i have a different opinion.I think it is more likely that the man was invaded by the tagged alien not long before Russel arrived and that is why the tagg systen went off around him.

It is going to be interesting to watch Russel trying to deny the aliens exist now.

im really enjoying the show, the pace is really picking up now.
cant wait for the next episode
