It's not just the way he has been treating Nancy, it's as though he's had a personality transplant recently with the way he has been treating Craig as well. When he first came onto the show he was a really nice man and I really fancied him, but now... Kevin Sacre is still gorgeous, but Jake is just mean to everyone and he's starting to become really controlling. Obviously characters are meant to grow but he's taken a turn for the worse.

he's been going this way for a while.. little things.. i mean he was a little controlling with Becca. Also when he was having a Affair with Lisa, he was nasty to her when they broke up and Becca found out, when it was him taking advantage of Lisa whose brother had just died. The worst part of his character came out with the way he tortured Justin and when he (accidently) killed Mrs Valentine, and not owning up till he got caught.. some one get the feeling i dont like his character lol SE - Sunset Ending 2008  Mc-dean is coming home

I found the title of this thread strange because it suggested you liked Jake at some stage. I've never liked him. Generally a weak character and played by a poor actor.

I think the way he is now stems from the way Becca treated him,def no excuse though

i used to quite like jake and i think kevin is a great actor, and the best looking one on 'oaks but brian kirkwood has turned him really horrid apparently, he said in an interview that this is because he likes justins character but dislike jake so he is going to try and turn jake into the hated one which personally i think is a bit wrong he should have just bought in a new bad boy type charactor

ooh! Can't wait! Not quite sure I feel sorry for Nancy completely though. She is rather irritating. I know it doesn't excuse his behaviour but I'd really like to see her get her come-uppance soon.

to be honest i haven't really liked jake!but now i really do detest him...mainly to do with the way he's being with nancy...and i can see his behaviour only getting worse with her!

Jake is such a poor character, he locked Nancy in because she went out to support her anorexic friend and didnt come home to eat the salad it took him two minutes to make!! Hes too busy feeling sorry for himself all the time!!

I agree he has always been mean but people seem to forget that I cant stand him

I don't like him but think the way the storyline has been built up is pure class from Hollyoaks. Even my mum has been impressed with it!!!
